Contact database

Each Wild Apricot account plan defines the maximum number of records allowed in your contact database.

Note that your database stores both paid members as well as free members or other kinds of contacts - donors and event attendees.

When you reach your maximum contact database size, you will get a notification and then have the choice of either:

  • Archiving or deleting old records, thereby reducing the contact database size or
  • Upgrading to the next billing plan, with a corresponding increase in number of allowable records or
  • Doing nothing, which may be a viable option if you do not expect your contact database to grow further. Please be aware, however, that in this case, the functions allowing the addition of new records will be disabled (adding members by hand, importing new members, online membership application etc.)

If you need to handle more records than our largest standard account plan, see this page: Managing a Large Number of Member and Contact Records.
